Poetry
I don't fancy myself much of a poet, but I do enjoy writing, even if I don't consider much of it to be particularly good. Much of my poetry can also be found on Darkpoetry.com.
Below is a list of my self-published poetry. I write everywhere, about everything and on anything. I LOVE to write. I've been keeping record of some of my poems, the ones I deemed "publishable" since 2003 - I began writing in January of 2003 after some inspiration from the friend who later became my Luv. Much of my earlier poetry is about him, much of it is terrible, I was such a little hopelessly love-struck emo girl.
But reading my poetry from beginning to end, there's an evolution - this is the record of my journey from girl to woman - from someone with no direction to someone with plenty of it. My poetry was a saving grace for a long time, and I was so in need to write it didn't matter how bad it was. My poetry is now more deliberate, more determined, better written, practiced, a skill developed through years of mediocrity. With significantly more pride for my newer works, I've reposted my poetry from newest to oldest, and I hope to actually keep updating it as I write.
You can click on the title to any poem to be linked to the text, hosted on my writing livejournal where you can not only read it but comment on it. The rare occasion a poem doesn't have a link is either because the poem was too personal or private, or because I never recorded the text online. Occasionally a poem will be linked to a Friends-Only entry. Sorry about that, some stuff is only for certain eyes. If you're a livejournal member, feel free to add me to your friends list, and I may add you back.
